Deon Pennyman is a native of Jackson, Georgia, a certified Life Coach, and a licensed ordained Minister. She has served as an educator for eight years; two years in Henry County and six years in Clayton County. The highest degree that she obtained is an Educational Specialist in Leadership as well as a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology, and a Master of Public Health. 
        As an educator, she understands that parents must have a voice to better serve their children. As a child who struggled academically, Deon recognized there is a need for parents and schools to close the gap of academic achievement.  Deon is forever grateful for a mom that pushed her to study hard and to obtain good grades. As a catalyst for change, Deon strongly stands behind this philosophy: "Together we can make anything possible."

Deon is a faithful member of Tabernacle of Praise Church International, a vibrant faith community in McDonough, GA led by Pastor T.J. and Lady Shunnae McBride.  She and her loving husband, Lynn, have been married since 2008.
